Circle Throwing Sponge in Blue (fine texture) - pack of 2
These soft, flexible and hard wearing sponges are hypoallergenic, machine-washable and long-lasting.
Perfect for throwing or hand building, smoothing clay or wiping back glaze. Each sponge measures 9cm x 0.5cm- they fit perfectly in your hand and are easy to grip. Ideal for use when throwing - giving great grip to easy pulling up walls, but thin enough to allow you to still feel the clay.
These sponges can hold up to 12 times its dry weight in water and remains incredible strong
A wet sponge can withstand temperatures nearing 70 o C and a dry sponge is resistant up to about 100 o C.
This means that you can pop it in the washing machine at 40 o C and your sponge will come out clean, refreshed and ready to use again
Other sponges may disintegrate in time, but these sponges are long-lasting, so you won’t have to keep replacing them.
Sponges harden when dry but simply soak in water for 60 seconds and your sponge will be soft and ready to use again,
